For Immediate Release

The Japan Society offers members and friends an exciting introduction to the Japanese culture. Every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. students get together to immerse themselves in an interesting and fun event. The meetings are open to all students with an interest in Japanese culture and media.

Regarded as one of the most active clubs on campus, the Japan Society is a laid back group of students that enjoy meeting new friends and sharing information about Japan.

It’s not only a place to enjoy anime, or learn about the culture, there are often speakers that bring new insights and fresh experiences.

At the next meeting, the featured speaker will be discussing the history of Bento boxes, which are practically an art form. The meeting will take place Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in CN building, room 2220
